Switch and Tune

I need to start review the communicating knowledge paper today, or else it wouldnt be ready by end of this week. Opps... tomorrow is friday and that means I am left with 24 hours to get it done. Impossible. I havent touch this paper since last wed. My mind was busy with the offshore accounting outsourcing analysis last week and now I have to set the analysis aside as the transcription need to be reviewed before any further analysis could be done. I have to start switch and tune my mind to the communicating knowledge paper or else I will never get it done!

Too busy

I'm not sure what made me busy but I'm busy...Busy with kids, research and writing... as usual. I need to calm down a little bit and focus. Too much to do and I cannot do everything at once. Ok, lets go back a step behind...listing the jobs that need to be done asap


1. rewrite paper of communicating knowledge - now the intention is to focus on sense-making
2. action research - first visit should be done before end of this month - need to finalise the open-ended questions
3. frgs offshore outsourcing - still reading and analyse the interview transribe - low quality of transciption - have to wait for other transcription/retranscribe before further analysis

4. frgs survival strategy - still looking for interview and cases
5. interpretive paper for IFIP - still not ready - due end of july
6. paper need to be formated n sent to journal - Offshoring and SMEs, Risks and Control in Accounting Outsoucing, eProcurement

Just a little bit more

Received feedback for frgs ecommerce proposal. Hehe.. that was a two-hour work and I just need to do a little bit of adjustment to the objective and sample.

Same goes to Outsourcing Turnback paper. Received feedback with few more comments. Just a little bit more before ready to be published..

I'm holding on... dont worry  :P

Journal Case for Integrated Case Study

I was asked to propose a Journal Case for Integrated Case Study, collaboration UKM-MIA. Interesting right? I will prepare a proposal by end of next week and hopefully everything goes well.

Brian responded to my article on communicating knowledge. He wanted a more novel idea for that paper, which means another round of rewriting. I dont mind spending my lifetime on this paper as long as it get publish in a top ranked impact journal. Tomorrow, we will be on SKYPE to discuss this paper. Oops, I need to download SKYPE again. Syyhhhh..

Frust

Finally, I submitted the article on Knowledge Gap to Journal of Knowledge Management. What a relief. I'm now writing on 'Intepretive Case Study - Situating in Research'. I've drafted this article a year ago and its about time to polish and publish. Target journal will be Qualitative Research Journal. Hopefully, I can get it done by end of this week. Too ambitious? Hehe.. hanya Dia yang tahu.

Actually, I am quite frustrated. Not just because of Brazil and Argentina that were not performed in World Cup... its mainly because I feel like I'm working under 'par' with limited resources and support.  *sigh*

Disturbances

I've done nothing else these three days except meetings and entertaining students / salesmen. Haha. Thats why I dont like staying in my office room. I couldnt even get to write even a single sentence. What more, I've to mark exam scripts by this weekend. Grade due next week. This week will definitely burn with admin and teaching stuffs.

Back to Work

This is my first day entering my office room after two weeks holiday. Miss the smell. Hehe..

I am planning to submit research proposal for FRGS. Should it be a continuation research of accounting outsourcing or e-commerce trust? Will be seeing Dr Hapiza from UiTM tomorrow, my ex-school classmate...she may suggest some ideas for the FRGS. 

Need to finalise the knowledge gap article and Tegar case today before starting on new paper on Offshore Accounting Outsourcing in Malaysia.
